Two levels of suspense in this book : Prelude

Prelude is the only book I've read that I missed reading after I was finished. I wanted to read more even after knowing the conclusion! every person should consume this story - especially anything who was affected by last summer's Enbridge pipeline leakage of nearly one million gallons of Canadian oil into the Kalamazoo River. As administrative Editor of the Battle Creek Shopper News, I was eager to wrap my head colse to the true scope of from where this toxic product, flowing straight through our city and county, had originated and why oil exploration is taking so many turns nationally and globally. I was delighted to learn that a brand new novel by Kalamazoo author Kurt Cobb had made a very timely release, shortly after the July 25, 2010 spill that disrupted so many lives. Prelude was the excellent story to capture and enunciate my attention to the details I was hungry to broadly comprehend. It's eye-opening, extremely well researched, educational and entertaining. Peak oil should be at the forefront of our minds, so I can't say it enough, "everyone needs to read this book" and wake up to the very real potential with regard to our future oil supplies.
